The Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC) is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of inspecting and accrediting laundries processing healthcare textiles for hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. - http://www.hlacnet.org/

LaundryESP(r) (Laundry Environmental Stewardship Program) is the textile rental service industry's voluntary environmental program. Conceptualized in 1999, LaundryESP encompasses 170 textile service companies and 750 laundry plants which account for 70 percent of the industry's production. Protecting public health and the environment is everyone's business. LaundryESP is an excellent way to fold pollution prevention and resource conservation into business decisions.
